 Web Site Sponsor kiwanis international Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor. We are 162 members of the community, dedicated to "serving the children of the world".
We have been in Ann Arbor since May of 1921 and in recent years have supported well over 100 area agencies from the fruits of our labor at the "Thrift Sale" held every Saturday at our building at 200 S. First St. (the Kiwanis Activity Center).
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers, dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. The Ann Arbor Kiwanis Thrift Sale is staffed by unpaid Kiwanis members and volunteers. The Ann Arbor Kiwanis Club Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, and donations to the Thrift Sale and Foundation are tax deductible. Proceeds from the Thrift Sale fund a wide variety of charities and social agencies in Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County. In 2008 the Club Foundation contributed $176,000 in cash and goods to help nearly 25,000 people.
